| Senatorial
district delegations of the Commonwealth Legislature
enact local laws pursuant to the Local Law Act of 1983
(1 CMC § 1401 et seq.), which permits legislation
pertaining exclusively to individual senatorial districts.
There are currently three senatorial districts: Rota
(District One), Tinian and Aguiguan (District Two),
and Saipan and the Northern Islands (District Three).
